 The ability to innovate on simulation with health application has been featured in the masterful session held in the ‘Hospital Residència Sant Camil’ of ‘Consorci Sanitari del Garraf’ (CSG) on 28 February 2013. Moderated by Dr. Antoni Yuste Manager of Teaching Department at CSG together with Dr. Enric Macarulla as special guest, expert on simulation and coming from ‘Fundació Sanitària d’Igualada’ on behalf of the ‘Consorci Sanitari de l’Anoia’ (CSA). Both medical experts, members of XISCAT network have shared capabilities and experience about the possibilities for innovation in techniques and technology, offering to the CSG professionals a breaking point of view on innovation applicable to the simulation in healthcare environment. |

 'Parc de Salut' and FORES celebrate the successful journey hosted at the Hospital Consortium of Vic (CHV). The conference, led by FORES which is in charge to manage R&D&i for the Osona territory, received the contribution of 'Parc de Salut' as partner institution as well as member and coordinator of XISCAT Network. The session, opened to the sanitary centers of Osona and the Vic University staff, aimed to encourage the innovation at health centers has been the objective to provide an adequate basis for employee participation of hospitals, medical and socio-health around innovation, generating much interest among participants that attended the presentation, among which was attended by professional of health-care, administrative and accounting staff. |

Innovating at MED-TECH BE |

 The MED-TECH Brokerage event co-organized by 'Parc de Salut' and ACC1Ó in Sabadell city and in the framework of activities of the Medical Technology Cluster of Catalonia last 27 February 2013 and impulsed by the Municipalities Promoters of MED-TECH Cluster has met more than 130 companies, technology centers, universities, hospitals and medical-sanitary centers of Catalonia to approach and enhance co-development around R&D projects on medical technologies, through more than 500 face-to-face meetings around EU key-topics on health. It is highlights as major and relevant sanitary participation of experts on innovation and medicine coming from XISCAT, the Network coordinated by 'Parc de Salut' and that includes 'Fundació Parc Taulí' which, in its role of XISCAT Member, welcomed the journey in ‘Corporació Sanitària Parc Taulí’. |
 Created with the aim of converging research, education and people’ care on mental disorders, the Mental Health Cluster of Catalonia was formalized last 16 January 2013 in St. Boi de Llobregat city, in a public ceremony presided over by the mayor of the hosting city and in which participated the Agency ACC1Ó. Among its most promising and relevant cluster actors, the Observatory OSAMCAT (Observatori de Salut Mental Comunitària de Catalunya) will act as an associate member and active participant. |

Success in INNO4AGEING 2012 |

 The international event dedicated to the innovation and to support active ageing organized by 'Parc de Salut' and 'Fundació ABAT' was successfully held at the Conference Centre of Neapolis and Geltrú Vilanova in Garraf. More than 140 participants as hospitals, health centers, companies, research institutes and social foundations shared two days-sessions of presentations, discussions, poster sessions and networking. Within the perspective of international collaboration, the INNO4AGEING 2012 event highlighted the Neurorescue presentation by the German institution MedTech Pharma e.V. and meetings with French companies in the European neuroscience cluster frame of collaboration. |

 The initiative NeuroRescue in which ‘Parc de Salut’ is taking part, was present in the international fair of reference on medical sector that is held yearly in Düsseldorf (Germany), the MEDICA 2012. The activity of NeuroRescue and its mapping tool for the search of partners in the field of neuroscience was introduced to a wide range of companies in the sector of European Neuroscience, giving additionally a permanent visibility throughout the duration of the fair by the exhibitor German MedTech Pharma e.V. partner in the pavilion in the region of Bavaria. |

The NeuroRescue was present at the conference co-organized on March 15, 2013 by 'Fundació ABAT' and other relevant entities in the frame of innovation at Garraf territory. Led by two active members of XISCAT, 'Parc de Salut'-Catalan representative for cluster in neuroscience and 'FundacióABAT'- the Catalan partner of the eCAALYX and CAALYX-MV initiatives, the day-journey has been highlighted by the capacity to generate new solutions technologically innovative about aging from the healthcare environment while bringing synergies between different actors in Catalonia, especially in the development of new international opportunities with close participation of R+D+i sanitary activity. The successfully day counted with relevance institutions covering Catalan territory such ACC1Ó, AIAQS, 'Parc de Salut' and XISCAT as well as locals such 'Fundació ABAT', Node Garraf and the UPC Campus Vilanova G. University.
